I walked into the NICU this
morning just like every morning- not quite knowing what to expect. Today, we
were pleasantly surprised. Yesterday our little man, Jack, made it back to his
birth weight- 3 lbs. 7 oz. Harper was still working on hitting her birth weight
and was hovering right around 2 lbs. 13 oz. This morning when Mom and I went to
check on Harper, we noticed that she had a weight update.
HARPER NOW WEIGHS 3 LBS!!!
She gained 3 oz. over night
and is now only 8 oz. behind her big brother. I know that she is still very
small and has quite a ways to go, but we are thrilled that she’s eating and
growing so big and strong. She’s going to give brother a run for her money!
