October 27: Picture 119

I took the day off work today to go to the dentist and to get my hair cut. Miss Abby also got to go in to get her yearly shots and her teeth cleaned too. This is her paw after all is said and done. She came home a little loopy from the teeth cleaning too.

PJ day at school for Red Ribbon Week. Yeah for dress up weeks- that means no dry cleaner trips this week! Yee Haw!:)

My Goodwill buy that makes me an offical Collett- a Bengals shirt! By the way, this is the night they beat the Bears into the ground!

A house guest! Tanner and I went to dinner, the chior concert and school, got some yogurt and then flipped on the tv. Staying at our house is super exciting...

Welcome to the world Madeleine Grace Sloma! She was born this morning and both mother and baby are doing well. Isn't she beautiful?

Look closely do you notice anything about our pasta??? Yes, it's not pasta but it's actually squash! And, it was actually not too bad.

October 19: Picture 111

Tony trying to teach Abby how to play fetch. We've never met a dog who will not chase after things, but Abby is only interested in chasing things that are furry and will scamper about on their own. Tony did get Abby to bring the duck back once- 1 out of 15 ain't too bad!

4 generations of Simpsons: Granny, Wyatt, Sloane, Dad (Pop) and Kerry. We had such a great time with everyone this weekend and were so glad we got to spend time with family, the weather was nice, the Horns won, and Abby was great with the kiddos. I wish we had more weekends like this past one. These are the weekends that make Mondays seem so dreadful!

Finally getting into bed after a long day. I'm reading The Art of Racing in the Rain and I'm liking it so far. It's told from the dog's point of view and it's pretty funny. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it.

Moth on our recycle bin. It's amazing the cool things you see when you just stop to look around you.

New shower head that Tony installed for us today; it has two different settings and it's much better than that old thing that dripped and spewed.

Grocery shopping day! Tony is on a new health kick and we're now eating more fruits and veggies (when we're not stuffing our faces with chips and salsa on the sly).

After a long day, Abby and I crashed hard. I just can't make it past midnight anymore and I don't think I made it past 10 this night.

Big Tex welcoming us to the Texas State Fair! Tony and I heard some great music, had some fried butter and enjoyed our evening out at the fair with great friends.

Our 100th picture! The play I went to see at school; one of my students was the lead and she did a great job! The play was smart and funny and I would reccomend it to anyone. :)

October 7: Picture 99

Abby's dinner-not ours! I promise I make Tony something better than boiled chicken, or at least I try to. Abby was overjoyed with chicken for dinner; we tried to use it as her walking treat, but she won't even eat chicken when we get outside. To Abby nothing, not even chicken, is worth paying attention to me while we're outside.

Abby enjoying her dog approved all organic frozen yogurt. It was peanut butter and banana and I thought Tony might try and swipe it from the dog because it smelled so good!
