November 19: Picture 142

Laundry day and Abby is helping by rounding up the extra socks that sometimes get dropped on the way to the washing machine. I'm pretty sure she hated me momentarily while I took this picutre and was very happy with me when I removed the sock.

November 18: Picture 141

Giant grasshopper on the front of the house. I wondered how he got up there, but just look at those longs legs. Why would a grasshopper want to sit on our house when he could be munching away on all the things in our yard?

November 17: Picture 140

Our beautiful girl! Doesn't she look pretty?

November 16 Picture 139

Brr! We hit a cold snap and I had to turn the heater on driving into work. I don't mind the cold but the walk in from the car to school can be very chilly!

November 15: Picture 138

I saw this while I was shopping and I was shocked and delighted to see Seasme Street is still making this. I had almost the same toys when I was a kid. Oscar the Grouch was plastic but I had Mr. Hooper's store and the building with the plastic figures. I was so close to buying this for Wyatt, but I had to go with a Go Diego Go! car instead.

November 14: Picture 137

Our festive fall pumpkin lookin' good on the porch. This is as decorated as our house gets!

November 13: Picture 136

This is what my car looked like when I walked out of school. Could this parent park any closer to me!?! Grr!

November 12: Picture 135

It is done. :( The leash broke. Now Tony and I have to figure out what we're going to do. I cannot control the Abby on a normal leash and now we're temporarily out of options. Things have to get better from here...right?

November 11: Picture 134

Sleepy girls sittin' on the couch needing to head to bed.

November 10: Picture 133

Yum! Chilli for dinner, a Paleo dieters delight! Tony and I ate on this batch for two days and it was soooo good. What would have made it even better you ask? Corn bread...yummmmm

November 9: Picture 132

Traffic on the way to work on a Monday...yuck! At least my traffic isn't nearly as bad as Tony's traffic. That is my exit sign up there, almost off the road Tony and I pay to sit on every month.

November 8: Picture 131

Abby was done for the night. We got up off the couch told her "last time out" and the moment she came running in from outside she headed off to bed!

November 7: Picture 130

The Sigma Nus at the Schuller's wedding. We had such a good time and it was so nice to get to see everyone again. Tony even got a break from his Paleo diet and took a cheat meal to have a beer with his brothers.

November 6: Picture 129

Couch time with Abby! I'm not really sure what we're doing here, but Tony thought it was funny and snapped a picture.

November 5: Picture 128

Beautiful drive to work this morning, bright sun, a little fog and some cool shadows through the trees. This is the day that the Lord has made...

November 4: Picture 127

Headed to bed after a long day of eating nothing but fruit, veggies, meat and nuts. I'm off the Paleo diet but Tony is still going strong!

November 3: Picture 126

Abby is going Paleo too...ha ha! This is her first apple. I think she enjoyed it- she mostly just pushed it around and made a mess.

November 2: Picture 125

After we all turned our clocks back one hour this is what my commute now looks like. It's spooky to drive to work in the light; I felt like I was late.

November 1: Picture 124

First day of the Paleo Diet for Tony. This is what our shopping cart looked like after our run through Market Street. Notice all the fruits, veggies and meat (the Beggin' Strips are for Miss Abby) :)

October 31: Picture 123 Happy Halloween Everyone!

The Ninja Turtles at the Schectman's Halloween Party. Tony and I went with the Hodums; the boys came up with the costume idea last year and Lauren and I found the necessary pieces to transform us into the green fighting team. Lauren brought the props :)

October 30: Picture 122

AHHHH scary teachers!!! It's the teacher zombie dance at school. We did a good job, had fun and got to scare our kids too. Although I'm sure there are some kids who see me like this in their mind everyday. :)

October 29: Picture 121

Dry run of "zombie hair" for the Thriller dance at school tomorrow. How does it look?

Ocotber 28: Picture 120 Happy Anniversary!!

Tony with his anniversary present- a signed Anthony Munoz football. For those who don't know, he was a lineman for the Bengals and is now in the Hall of Fame. Tony had an autographed picture of him once upon a time, but some little kid tore it up in elementary school. So, now he has a football to replace the picture. He also got me a very nice purse. :) Yeah for 3 years of being married for many, many, many more to come!!

October 27: Picture 119

I took the day off work today to go to the dentist and to get my hair cut. Miss Abby also got to go in to get her yearly shots and her teeth cleaned too. This is her paw after all is said and done. She came home a little loopy from the teeth cleaning too.

October 26: Picture 118

PJ day at school for Red Ribbon Week. Yeah for dress up weeks- that means no dry cleaner trips this week! Yee Haw!:)

October 25: Picture 117

My Goodwill buy that makes me an offical Collett- a Bengals shirt! By the way, this is the night they beat the Bears into the ground!

October 24: Picture 116

A house guest! Tanner and I went to dinner, the chior concert and school, got some yogurt and then flipped on the tv. Staying at our house is super exciting...

October 23: Picture 115

Girls night at the Collett house. We were on our own while Tony was in Nac.

October 22: Picture 114

My wonderful husband putting air in my tires for me. What a great hubby!!

October 20: Picture 113 Happy Birthday Baby Sloma!

Welcome to the world Madeleine Grace Sloma! She was born this morning and both mother and baby are doing well. Isn't she beautiful?

October 21: Picture 113

Look closely do you notice anything about our pasta??? Yes, it's not pasta but it's actually squash! And, it was actually not too bad.

October 19: Picture 111

Tony trying to teach Abby how to play fetch. We've never met a dog who will not chase after things, but Abby is only interested in chasing things that are furry and will scamper about on their own. Tony did get Abby to bring the duck back once- 1 out of 15 ain't too bad!

October 18: Picture 110

On the way home from the dog park. If you look closely in the back you can see Miss Abby hanging out back there.

October 17: Picture 109

4 generations of Simpsons: Granny, Wyatt, Sloane, Dad (Pop) and Kerry. We had such a great time with everyone this weekend and were so glad we got to spend time with family, the weather was nice, the Horns won, and Abby was great with the kiddos. I wish we had more weekends like this past one. These are the weekends that make Mondays seem so dreadful!

October 16: Picture 108

Date night at Saltgrass!

October 15: Picture 107

Another yogurt picture; Abby can't get enough of it and I think it's so cute to watch her eat it! :)

October 14: Picture 106

Finally getting into bed after a long day. I'm reading The Art of Racing in the Rain and I'm liking it so far. It's told from the dog's point of view and it's pretty funny. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it.

October 13: Picture 105

Moth on our recycle bin. It's amazing the cool things you see when you just stop to look around you.

October 12: Picture 104

New shower head that Tony installed for us today; it has two different settings and it's much better than that old thing that dripped and spewed.

October 11: Picture 103

Grocery shopping day! Tony is on a new health kick and we're now eating more fruits and veggies (when we're not stuffing our faces with chips and salsa on the sly).

October 10: Picture 102

After a long day, Abby and I crashed hard. I just can't make it past midnight anymore and I don't think I made it past 10 this night.

October 9: Picture 101

Big Tex welcoming us to the Texas State Fair! Tony and I heard some great music, had some fried butter and enjoyed our evening out at the fair with great friends.

October 8: Picture 100

Our 100th picture! The play I went to see at school; one of my students was the lead and she did a great job! The play was smart and funny and I would reccomend it to anyone. :)

October 7: Picture 99

Abby's dinner-not ours! I promise I make Tony something better than boiled chicken, or at least I try to. Abby was overjoyed with chicken for dinner; we tried to use it as her walking treat, but she won't even eat chicken when we get outside. To Abby nothing, not even chicken, is worth paying attention to me while we're outside.

October 6: Picture 98

Abby enjoying her dog approved all organic frozen yogurt. It was peanut butter and banana and I thought Tony might try and swipe it from the dog because it smelled so good!

October 5: Picture 97

My favorite piece of kitchen ware-the LeCruset pan Tony and I got in Colorado. When I have to cook dinner, which I've done a lot lately, I always use this. It was a great buy and highly recommended!

October 4: Picture 96

Abby sleeping while I graded essays. 80 essays to grade in one day, yuck. I hope to never do that to myself again.

October 3: Picture 95

Lauren and I at the homecoming dance. We had a great time dancing and running the kids off the dance floor with our presence.

October 2: Picture 94 Happy Birthday Ryan!

My homecoming sash I got for being on the faculty homecoming court. I didn't win, but it was fun to be on the floor during the pep rally. :)

October 1: Picture 93

The new and improved guest bathroom complete with the mirror Tony hung! Way to go Tone!
